THE FIRM We are a partnership of maritime and insurance lawyers based in London, close to Finsbury Circus and Moorgate in the City. THE WORK We operate in specialised fields: the carriage of goods by sea; the commercial operation of ships; the sale and purchase of goods; insurance and reinsurance. Much of our work concerns dispute resolution. A significant, and growing, amount of what we do is, however, non-contentious, involving the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements and advice on various regulatory matters. THE PEOPLE The firm comprises 13 partners, 8 assistant solicitors and a team of 12 support staff. Although some expansion is inevitable, we want to maintain our current friendly working environment, where everyone knows everyone else.
