Alessandro Ferrari

Alessandro Ferrari graduated with an honours degree in Law from University College London and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2023. He joined MFB as an associate in 2025, having previously trained and practiced in the energy, marine & international trade department of a leading international law firm. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Alessandro spent time living and working in Washington DC, Rome, Madrid, Riyadh, Brussels, and the Hague.

Alessandro gained experience handling a broad range of marine insurance and shipping disputes arising under bills of lading, charterparties and sale and purchase contracts. He has acted for clients in claims before the English High Court, London arbitration forums such as the LCIA and LMAA, and before courts and tribunals in other jurisdictions around the world, such as the SIAC.

Alessandro speaks fluent English, Italian, Spanish, and intermediate-level French.
