Christy Cheung

Christy is a dual-qualified solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong. She advises on a broad range of dry and wet shipping disputes, covering matters arising from charterparties, bills of lading, supply of bunkers, ship sale and purchase and commodities. She has acted in LMAA, GAFTA, SIAC and Hong Kong-seated arbitrations, as well as proceedings in the English Commercial Court.

Christy graduated with First Class Honours for both her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Durham and her Master of Law (LLM) at the University of Cambridge. She completed her training contract with a law firm in Hong Kong before joining MFB.

Christy is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
