Kathryn graduated from Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge with a degree in Law in 2019. She then completed her LLM at Maastricht University in 2019/2020, following which she did her LPC at the University of Law.

Kathryn trained at a UK-based full-service law firm, where she gained experience in a range of complex shipping matters, including in the High Court and Arbitration (LMAA). Kathryn qualified as a solicitor in March 2024 and joined MFB in September 2025.
