Shi-Yin is a dual-qualified solicitor in England and Wales and Singapore. Shi-Yin has worked with commodities traders, P&I clubs, multinational corporations, and state-owned entities on disputes and transactions in the shipping and commodities trade sectors. She has also acted in English court proceedings and arbitrations under the UNCITRAL, SIAC, ICC, LMAA, SCMA rules, as well as ad hoc arbitrations.

Prior to joining MFB, Shi-Yin worked as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore, where she represented clients in commercial and shipping matters, and argued applications before the Singapore High Court and State Courts.

Shi-Yin holds an LLM in International Business Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). She is fluent in Mandarin and Malay.
