- Acting for the owner and insurers of a yacht that had been salved after an engine/steering gear failure, including negotiations with the tug owners, settling the salvage claim within a week of the salvage and advising on policy issues 
- Acting as a mediator between two sailing yacht owners in relation to disputes arising out of a collision between their yachts 
- Advising an owner of a British-flagged sailing yacht in connection with an investigation into an incident involving his yacht, being undertaking by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) including advice on due process and rights of representation 
- Advising an owner of a Cayman-flagged motor yacht that was arrested in Spain following a dispute with the previous captain, and whose actions were funded by the captain’s trade union. Arranging for the release of the arrest within 48 hours
